Mahogany Body
Whats a good Active Pickup that will be good enough to allow me to play lots of different styles?
I am looking for a new tone to get from my Indie shape extreme plus via new pickups. I would like them to be versatile enough to allow me to play different styles (eg. from blues to metal) if it is possible. My guitars Body is made out of Solid Mahogany if it helps anybody answer my question. If there are none then can anyone recommend something for blues and Hard Rock (two of my favourite styles)?
Hmm... although I haven't used them, everyone I know recommends EMG 80 or 81's. EMG makes High Quality pickups, in my experience.
